I came to Alaska in 1983 with the Air Force. I am originally from Minnesota. I have had property on the peninsula since 2001 and got the opportunity to move down here in 2014. I enjoy the people in the community and the small town atmosphere. I am married and have 2 children and 3 grand children.
I have never been able to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I have had several jobs and owned businesses. I have been with Spenard Builders supply for the last 11 years. I am currently the General Manager at SBS in here in Soldotna. I am proud of the team I work with and enjoy our customers immensely.
The builders association is very important part of my professional life. I believe in it’s purpose and appreciate everything it does for the industry. I have been on the KPBA Board of Directors for the past four years. The KPBA Home show is one of the premiere events held in the spring and a great opportunity for our residents to plan projects and meet with people that can make a dream a reality. I have been to Juneau to meet with legislators regarding legislation that affects our industry and worked with the Alaska State Home Builders to benefit this industry. The association is instrumental in giving back to the community and works to make the peninsula a better safer place to live.
